Reyhaneh Kholoosi Music Studio Policy (2024-2025)

 

 

Class Descriptions and Rules:

 

       -Lessons are usually scheduled in 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes—at least 4 private lessons per month.

       -Family members are welcome to observe the lessons quietly. While observing

lessons please don’t talk or whisper, nor should you react to errors your child may make. Please do not answer questions that are directed to your child.

       - Students should be ON TIME, if they are late there is no makeup session or extended time under any circumstances.

       - Students are Responsible for buying their music, and books.

 

 

Tuition and payments:

 

Payments

The monthly tuition fee is due at the beginning of each month/cycle.

 Please call the studio to get informed about the tuition.

* Rates are subject to change annually.

Registration

  Once you sign up, you should submit a registration form on or before your first regular lesson. *The registration fee is $100.

  

Student Absences

     Students are charged for all lessons for which they register. The instructor is not obligated to schedule makeup lessons for those lessons missed due to student non-attendance, illness, etc,

However, makeup lessons may be offered in some circumstances.

Students are responsible for notifying the teacher with 24-hour advance notice if they are going to cancel a lesson.

• NO SHOW in any circumstances will be counted as a session.

• No refunds will be given for any missed/ canceled sessions.

 

Teacher Absences

   The instructor is responsible for making -up any lessons that she has canceled, and if no makeup can be scheduled, a credit for that lesson will be applied to the tuition for the following month. Make-up lessons can be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

 

 

Online Sessions

All the rules apply to online lessons. I provide weekly videos and learning tips to each student in regards to their needs and weaknesses. Online lessons are either on  Zoom, Skype, Facetime, or any other platform that works for both teacher and student.

Termination of Lessons

   Notice of withdrawal and requests for refunds must be made in writing by Email.  Verbal notices or requests from students, parents, or faculty cannot be accepted.

Family Discounts:

10% Family Discount will be applied to the second and third students in the same family. The first family member pays full tuition. 

 

10 Session package discount:

By paying for 10 sessions in advance you will get a discount for each session.
